- The area of Vignoli-Serre and Cascina Favorita in the district of Azzate

The itinerary diagonally crosses the Valle d’Olona, passing the areas of Brunello, Castronno, Morazzone and Castiglione Olona. From here the course continues, crossing the areas of Venegono Superiore and Inferiore, until you reach Castelnuovo Bozzente, which is where there is the Parco della Pineta of Appiano Gentile and Tradate. The region is particularly variegated from a naturalistic point of view and rich in historical-artistic testimony, of which the historical village of Castiglione Olona merits particular attention. It is a place of very high historical and architectural value, which is numbered among the first ‘ideal cities ‘of the Renaissance period
