Discovering the Eastern banks of the Lario

Difficulty: the course is quite easy, except for the stretch Lecco-Abbadia Lariana (we suggest you use public transport to reach these two places.) Particularly recommended to: sporty people and those who are passionate about riding on roads

The itinerary coasts along the banks of the Lario, from Lecco to Colico and it is particularly adapted to who actively does a lot of sport and to who loves cycling on roads, while offering numerous starting points for lovers of mountain bikes and trekking. Even though the track follows the whole of the main road (SP72), it can still be used, as long as you use public transport for several critical spots. The itinerary develops, touching small villages nestling on the banks of the lake and you cross the areas of Abbadia Lariana, Mandello Lario, Lierna, Perledo, Varenna, Bellano, Dervio, Dorio, until you reach Colico, near the bridge SS 36 on the Adda, where you can link up with an already existing cycle lane
