Itinerary 5

The route leaves from the city of Como, unwinding between the pools of water, of high naturalistic value that are of morenial origin. The route is dedicated to who loves lakeside scenery and for who wants to discover the region, by knowing more about the architectural beauty and local culture. The itinerary crosses the areas of Lipomo, Capiago Intimiano, Montorfano, Orsenigo, Alzate Brianza, Anzano del Parco, Alserio, Monguzzo, Albavilla and Erba, until you reach Merone near the FNM station. The course represents the start of a longer itinerary, that links the city of Como with that of Lecco, crossing the minor morainal lakes of Brianza ( links with itinerary 7).

- The Nature Reserve at Lake Montorfano
- The Nature Reserve of Lake Alserio
- The Lake and PLIS of Segrino
- The island of Cipressi (in the district of Pusiano)

2/ Art among the lakes
In particular we suggest a visit to :
- The village of Montorfano.
- The Segantiniani areas (Lake Pusiano)
